Billy was born in Carthage Ms. and has lived his entire life near Lena, Mississippi. Billy and his wife, Cindy, attend Faith Baptist Church. He retired from Ms. Forestry Commission with over 31 years service where he was actively involved in the management and sales of state owned timber. He is a licensed contractor and a member of the Jackson Association of Realtors, Ms. Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors and holds a Certified Negotiation Expert Designation.
Britt Barnes has lived in Leake County, Mississippi his entire life. After working offshore as a medic, he pursued his dreams of becoming a business owner and established The Health Club, LLC., a multi-purpose health facility located in Carthage and Kosciusko. The Health club serves the people of Central Mississippi. He is a personal trainer and has been in People Magazine and on the ABC Network.
In 2008, Britt established Britt Barnes Realty Group, LLC., and he is a graduate of the Mississippi Realtor Institute and holds a Broker's license issued from The Mississippi Real Estate Commission. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors.
Britt has served as President of the Leake County Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Leake County Development Association board. He is currently an Alderman in the City of Carthage and has graduated the Mississippi Municipal League's Certified Municipal Official program. He was re-elected with no opposition in November 2014 to his second term as Alderman.
Britt and his daughter Blayze, and son Breeze, attend Williamsville Baptist Church.
Kevin Cross, a Desert Storm veteran, was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi. After graduation from Kosciusko High School in 1985, Kevin joined the United States Marines. He is a member of the Central Mississippi Association of REALTORS®, Mississippi Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS®.
Following attendance at Phillips Junior College, he began a twenty-six (26) year career in law enforcement. Kevin retired form the City of Carthage Police Department as Chief Investigator. He is a local business owner.
Kevin is a member of Mt. Charity Church where he servies and Sunday School Superintendent and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He is the proud father of four children and one grand-child.
Mollie is a native of Scott County. She was born in Morton and resided in Hillsboro for 25 years, where she and her husband, Richard, raised their two sons, Justin and Matt.
Mollie is a member of Harperville Baptist Church. She and her husband, Richard, are the owners of the Chevron/Subway in Decatur, MS and also the Chevron/Subway in Pelahatchie, MS. Mollie’s interests include spending time with her family, traveling, singing, decorating, and antique shopping.
Mollie comes to Britt Barnes Realty with many years’ experience in business, accounting, and also interior decorating.
Shawn Hoffman is a United State Army Veteran and Leake County Resident. He began his real estate career with Britt Barnes Realty Group in 2014 and is a member of the Central Mississippi Association of REALTORS®, Mississippi Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS®.
Shawn’s primary focus is on residential and commercial real estate. “I love the interaction with customers. It is a wonderful feeling when you find the perfect place for someone. Nothing like it!”
Shawn has been married to his wife, Gwen, his high school sweetheart for 26 years. Both their sons Joey and Bobby attend Mississippi State University. He graduated from Leake Academy in 1985 and went directly into the United States Army returning to Carthage in 2003. In addition to his real estate work, he owns and operates food service at the Tyson Food’s complex in Carthage.
He is very active in volunteer service to the community. Shawn is currently President of the Board of the Leake County Boys and Girls Club, past-president of the Leake County Chamber of Commerce and of the Carthage Rotary Club. He is a deacon at West Carthage Baptist Church and member of the American Legion.
Stephanie Bradshaw is a member of the Jackson Association of Realtors, Ms. Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She has been a realtor since 2012. Stephanie enjoys camping, fishing and hunting and has been a resident of Leake county for 15 years.
